OLED table lamp.
Cruda OLED table lamp, designed in total absence of decoration, exploits the explication of materials that contrast high OLED technology with the archaism of stones and their intrinsic beauty. Technique also taught by the Japanese art of suiseki literally “stones worked by water”, hence a “clash” that determines an aesthetic initially omitted in the design process.
OLED stands for Organic Light Emitting Diode or organic light emitting diode.
It is a technology that allows you to create color displays with the ability to emit their own light: unlike liquid crystal displays, OLED displays do not require additional components to be illuminated (liquid crystal displays are illuminated by an external light source) , but they produce their own light; this allows you to create very thin displays, even foldable and rollable and which require less energy to operate.
