City is a picture frame with a base in reclaimed wood, made using the sacrificial panel used as a support base on marble-cutting machines. After a certain number of use cycles, this panel is discarded.
The various working cuts give the wooden panel a singular, unique texture. By reclaiming the panel and cutting it to the required size, it is used as the base for City: the existing grooves are used to support the plexiglass frame.
